Can I buy QAYVEX POS today?
QAYVEX POS is still in development and has not been released. You can request a demonstration or a quote now, and we will contact you when it is ready for your store.
Is the online demo the real software?
No. The demo on this page is a simulation that runs in your browser with sample products. It shows how the main workflows are designed to work. Nothing you do in it is saved or sent anywhere, and it is not connected to any store.
Does it need an internet connection?
It is being built so that normal trading needs no internet. Sales, stock and reporting run against a database on your own computer or local network.
Can several tills share stock?
Yes, that is part of the design. In a multi-till store every till connects to one shared database on your local network, so stock levels and sales stay in step.
What happens if I stop paying for support?
Nothing is switched off. The licence for the version you bought is permanent. Without a support plan you simply stop receiving updates and technical assistance.
Which hardware will it work with?
It is being designed for a Windows PC with a USB barcode scanner, a thermal receipt printer and a printer-driven cash drawer. We will publish a tested hardware list before release.
Can QAYVEX customise it for my business?
Yes. QAYVEX is a software development company, so additional features or integrations can be scoped and quoted separately.
